Trough Fermentation Bio-organic Fertilizer Technology and Machine

gongyitu1Trough fermentation bio-organic fertilizer is the adopted process for large or medium-sized bio-organic fertilizer processing projects. Most large-scale breeding enterprises use animal manure as a resource, or bio-organic fertilizer production enterprises will adopt trough fermentation. The main advantages of the trough fermentation process are reflected in the high work efficiency when processing a large amount of raw materials, occupying a small floor area, and facilitating intensive production and processing. In the trough fermentation bio-organic fertilizer process, the main mechanical equipment used is the trough turning machine, common models include wheel-type turning machines and groove-type paddle-type turning machines (also known as groove-type rotary knife-type turning machines).

Trough Fermentation Biological Organic Fertilizer Process

The tank fermentation bio-organic fertilizer process is mainly divided into two stages:
1. fermentation and decomposing stage;
2. post-processing stage

1.Fermentation and decomposing stage:

The fermentation and decomposing process stage is also called the pretreatment stage. After composting chicken manure, cow manure and other animal manures are transported to the processing plant, they are sent to the mixing and stirring device according to the weight or cubic meters required by the process, mixed with auxiliary materials (straw, humic acid, water, starter), and adjust the carbon-nitrogen ratio of compost water according to the distribution ratio of raw materials, and enter the next process after mixing.
Fermentation in the tank: Send the mixed raw materials into the fermentation tank with a loader, pile them up into a fermentation pile, use a fan to force ventilation from the ventilation device at the bottom of the fermentation tank upwards, and supply oxygen, and the temperature of the material will rise within 24-48 hours to above 50°C. When the internal temperature of the material pile in the trough exceeds 65 degrees, it is necessary to use the trough-type turning and throwing machine for turning and throwing, so that the materials can increase oxygen and cool the materials during the process of lifting and falling. If the internal temperature of the material pile is kept between 50-65 degrees, turn over the pile every 3 days, add water, and control the fermentation temperature at 50°C to 65°C, so as to achieve the purpose of aerobic fermentation.
The first fermentation period in the tank is 10-15 days (affected by climate and temperature conditions). After this period of time, the materials have been fully fermented and the materials have been fully decomposed. After decomposing, when the water content of the material drops to about 30%, the fermented semi-finished products are removed from the tank for stacking, and the removed semi-finished materials are placed in the secondary decomposing area for secondary decomposing, ready to enter the next process.

2.Post-processing stage

The decomposed finished compost is crushed and screened, and the screened semi-finished products are processed according to the particle size of the material. According to the particle size, those that meet the requirements are either made into organic fertilizer powder and packaged for sale, or processed into granules by granulation technology, and then packaged after drying and adding medium and trace elements, and put into storage for sale.
In summary, the entire process specifically includes physical dehydration of fresh crop straw → crushing of dry raw materials → sieving → mixing (bacteria + fresh animal manure + crushed straw mixed in proportion) → composting fermentation → temperature change observation drum Wind, turning and throwing→moisture control→screening→finished product→packaging→storage.

Introduction of trough fermentation bio-organic fertilizer process equipment

The turning and throwing equipment used in the fermentation stage of trough bio-organic fertilizer mainly includes wheel type turning and throwing machines and groove type paddle-type turning and throwing machines (also called groove type rotary knife-type turning and throwing machines). The two models have their own characteristics, the main differences are:
1.The depth of turning is different: the main working depth of the groove-type turning machine is generally not more than 1.6 meters, while the depth of the wheel-type turning machine can reach 2.5 meters to 3 meters;
2.The width (span) of the tank is different: the common working width of the groove type turning machine is 3-6 meters, while the tank width of the wheel type turning machine can reach 30 meters.
It can be seen that if the amount of material is larger, the work efficiency of the wheel-type turning machine will be higher, and the construction volume of the ground tank will be smaller. At this time, the use of the wheel type turning machine has advantages. If the amount of material is small, it is more advantageous to choose a groove type turner.
