The NPK Production Line is a complete, automated equipment system designed to produce high-quality compound fertilizers containing Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K) — the three essential macronutrients for plant growth. This production line can process more than 3 types of fertilizer raw materials into granules, equipped with a Batching System, using Roller Press Granulator as the main granulation machine, and a dryer can be equipped or not as needed.

Production Process Flow

The NPK production line follows a streamlined, automated workflow with clear, interconnected stages, ensuring high efficiency, stable performance, and consistent product quality. The detailed process is as follows:

  1. 1.Raw Material Preparation: Raw materials (including urea, ammonium sulfate, ammonium phosphate, SSP, TSP, MOP, SOP, and selected additives) are stored separately in silos, then crushed into fine powder (0.1-5mm) to ensure uniform mixing and granulation efficiency. Impurities and metal particles are removed during this stage to protect subsequent equipment and ensure product purity.
  2. 2.Precise Batching: An intelligent batching system with electronic scales accurately weighs each raw material according to pre-set formulas (e.g., 15-15-15 balanced fertilizer or crop-specific ratios), ensuring nutrient balance and compliance with national standards. The number of material hoppers can be customized (1-4 or more) based on production needs.
  3. 3.Mixing & Granulation: The proportioned raw materials are fully mixed in a high-efficiency mixer to ensure uniform nutrient distribution. The mixture is then sent to a granulation system — Roller press granulator.
  4. 4.Drying & Cooling: Freshly granulated wet granules enter a rotary dryer, where hot air reduces moisture content to a stable level (suitable for storage). The dried granules are then cooled to room temperature in a cooler to enhance mechanical strength and prevent clumping during storage and transportation.
  5. 5.Screening & Recycling: A vibrating screener separates qualified granules (1-4mm) from unqualified fine powder and oversize granules. Unqualified materials are crushed and returned to the granulation stage for reuse, minimizing material waste and improving production efficiency.
  6. 6.Coating (Optional): Qualified granules can be coated with a protective layer to slow nutrient release, improve water resistance, and extend shelf life, meeting higher market demands for slow-release fertilizers.
  7. 7.Automatic Packaging: The final qualified granules are sent to an automatic packaging system, weighed, and packed into standard bags (25kg, 50kg, or customized sizes) for easy storage, transportation, and on-site application.
