The disc granulator is a cat litter granulation machine featuring a simple structure, easy operation, and low initial investment, making it particularly suitable for small to medium-sized cat litter production lines. Its production capacity ranges from 0.5 to 8 t/h. Once the material enters the rotating disc, it continuously tumbles, rolls, and agglomerates under the combined effects of centrifugal force, gravity, and friction. With the assistance of a spraying system (atomized water or binder), small particles gradually grow and form uniform pellets. When the set particle size is reached, the pellets are automatically discharged, enabling continuous pellet production. This equipment achieves a pelletization rate of over 90%. The resulting pellets are highly uniform, well-rounded, and strong; they are resistant to breakage and have an attractive appearance, making them perfect for commercial packaging. It operates stably with low maintenance costs. By adjusting the disc angle, rotational speed, and spray system, pellet size and pelletization efficiency can be flexibly controlled to meet the production requirements of cat litter products of various specifications.
The rotary drum granulator is suitable for high-capacity, continuous production and is a commonly used industrial-grade granulation device in large-scale cat litter manufacturing facilities. Its production capacity ranges from 1 to 10 t/h. Powdered material enters the rotating drum, where it is continuously tumbled and mixed; during this process, the particles undergo constant collision, adhesion, and agglomeration. Simultaneously, water, steam, or a binder is injected, causing the fine powder to gradually form stable particle nuclei that continue to grow, ultimately resulting in uniform, dense finished pellets. This machine is suitable for large-scale continuous production, offering high operational stability and a high degree of automation. The equipment operates in a well-sealed environment, effectively reducing dust leakage and improving the production environment. Pellets formed by drum granulation are highly spherical, have a compact structure, and exhibit consistent overall quality, making them particularly suitable for industrial-scale continuous production. Furthermore, this equipment offers strong adaptability to raw materials, long maintenance intervals, and high operational reliability, making it suitable for long-term, high-load operations.
