The double roller press granulator is one of the most commonly used fertilizer granulation machines, capable of directly compressing powdered fertilizer raw materials into pellets. The double roller granulator has a wide range of applications, serving not only the fertilizer industry but also sectors such as animal feed, mineral powders, Snow melting agents, and cat litter. roller granulator achieves a high granulation rate of up to 95% or more, producing compact pellets that are resistant to crumbling and breakage. It is simple to operate and requires minimal floor space. Granulation can be performed at room temperature without the need for a drying process, thereby reducing costs. The physical extrusion granulation process generates no high temperatures and causes no chemical reactions, allowing heat-sensitive materials to retain their original activity to the maximum extent.

Performance Characteristics

1.The kinetic energy transfer is increased to five slots triangle belt, which fully transfers the motor power and reduces the kinetic energy loss.

2.The reducer adopts the independent research and development design of our company, with high transmission efficiency and stable kinetic energy.

3.Design the feeding and stirring mechanism to ensure that the material can enter the roller die evenly and prevent the feeding mouth from blocking.

4.Both sides of the lower end of the roller skin mold are equipped with automatic cleaning scraper to prevent materials from sticking to the roller skin.

Working Principle

The production process of double roll extrusion granulation is primarily divided into three stages: the extrusion stage, the crushing stage, and the screening stage.

  1. Extrusion Stage: A motor drives two high-strength rollers to rotate toward each other. Raw materials are fed through the top inlet and compressed into dense, hard granule cakes within the gap between the two rollers.
  2. Crushing Stage: The extruded granule cake falls into the crushing chamber below, where it is broken down by high-speed rotating blades.
  3. Screening Stage: The crushed material enters a vibrating screen. Particles that meet the size requirements are discharged directly, while powder that is too fine or fragments that are too large are returned to the feed hopper via a conveyor belt for re-extrusion.
